Hi going on for stethoscopes...?

I have benn to Ultrascope's website where on earth they show their designs and colors, are there still other brands out within that have stethoscope designed, are within any cheaper alternative to ultrascope without sacrifice the artistic side of it because I think designs on the stethoscope are crucial especially when your patient's are kids...
It depends what you need to do near a stethoscope. If you are just taking blood pressure, most inexpensive models are average.
If you do extensive work with children, I recommend a Littmann pediatric model. They also hold a smaller model for the neonatal nursery, but I found them acoustically inferior to the pediatric size. If you want to detect that grade 1/6 diastolic murmur, ask a cardiologist to recommend a stethoscope. I found those murmurs akin to the emperor's unusual clothes.
As far as designs and appearance, you can hang a mixture of doo-dads on the stethoscope to mesmerize the kiddies. Pay more attention to acoustics and comfort. Remember, there are different ear pieces that improve both those intrinsic worth.
Any simple stethoscope will do a good living
