This is a special formulation-the aloin is removed so it's much better quality than cheap aloe liquid you can buy at health food store. What open-handed are you trying? All the flavored ones do have sugar surrounded by them. Maybe too much sugar. Try to start with smaller dose or inborn flavor(no sugar). It's great at detoxifying body-maybe headache is just your body getting rid sour bad stuff
